What is Going On?

Where is the rice??  Why are products out of stock?  How soon will you get more in?  These are the questions we get daily about the products we have at the Logan Home Storage Center.  The answer?  We don’t have many details.  What we do know, at times, is that demand is higher than the facility can keep up with. The church has even hired full-time employees to help the many volunteers that package the products.  Sometimes, they just don’t have the product.  Some products are grown at church farms, some are purchased. Sometimes the cost is too high to make it possible to provide at a reasonable cost, to you, the patron. So, as you can see, we don’t have any conclusive answers.  What we do know, everyone is working very hard to help you to be able to purchase the products that are supplied.  We appreciate your patience. We also enjoy answering any questions you might have. We have a strong desire to help you acquire and meet your storage goals.  You are welcome to come in and tour our facility during the hours of operation.

We hope that you have taken advantage of the messages that are sent to you through this newsletter.  Our community relation missionaries, Elder and Sister Natali, are very knowledgeable and dedicated to supplying important information to you.  Whether it is through this newsletter, weekly updates of changes in stock or the presentations they provide to your wards and stakes.

It seems that everywhere you turn there is turmoil, inflation, severe weather, natural disasters. I hope we can all provide in the Lord’s way as is stated by Elder Uchtdorf, “The prophetic promises and blessings of Church welfare, of providing in the Lord’s way, are some of the most magnificent and sublime the Lord has pronounced upon His children. …Whether we are rich or poor, regardless of where we live on this globe, we all need each other, for it is in sacrificing our time, talents, and resources that our spirits mature and become refined. This work of providing in the Lord’s way … cannot be neglected or set aside. It is central to our doctrine; it is the essence of our religion (October 2011 General Conference, Providing in the Lord’s Way).”

Logan Home Storage Center (LHSC) New Year’s Holiday Schedule

The Logan Home Storage Center (LHSC) New Year’s schedule.  The LHSC will be closed from Saturday, December 31, 2022, through Monday, January 2, 2023.  They will open again in the new year on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at their regular time

Masks are optional and are the preference of the patron.
