Food for Thought
I have just read a couple of books on emergency preparedness. One starts out with what happened on September 11, 2001, and the shock and horror of that day. Besides all airplanes being ordered to land at the nearest airport immediately, businesses and schools were disrupted, most shutting down not knowing what would happen as the day progressed. I can’t think of anyone who was prepared emotionally that day.
What might happen to you, to your family, to your community the next time disaster strikes, whether it might be another terrorist attack, a flood as in St. George, or a famine? What if your income was cut off due to a job loss, illness, or accident? Could you provide for your family without an income? What if the stores and banks were to close or you could not get to them? What if no medical services were available? What if utilities, such as electricity, gas, and water were shut down? ARE YOU PREPARED?
How can you prepare to provide for whatever your future might hold? One answer is through emergency home storage. This can include food, water, and a financial reserve. The Logan Home Storage Center can help you to start, or continue, storing food. There you can get basic food items at a reasonable price for your immediate and future use.
