The church’s higher education program has two parts.

1. BYU–Pathway Worldwide: PathwayConnect

PathwayConnect is a one-year (three-semester), reduced-cost online program offered through BYU–Pathway Worldwide. It prepares students to start or finish a degree. After finishing PathwayConnect, students can apply their course credits toward a degree at the same low price. Each semester, students take a manageable course load of academic and religious education. All course credits count toward future BYU–Idaho degrees. In addition to the online coursework, students also gather once a week to get support from their peers and to attend educational and leadership activities.

2. BYU–Pathway Worldwide: Certificates and Degree

To be eligible for an online degree program, students must meet all admission requirements. Students typically start with PathwayConnect and must successfully complete all three semesters with a 3.0 GPA or higher to matriculate. Students with significant online experience also have the option of entering directly into an online degree program

One of the benefits of a BYU-Pathway Worldwide education is its low pricing, with tuition rates that are significantly lower than most other colleges and universities. Plus, get a guaranteed tuition discount of 10-50%!

Tuition rate for students starting with PathwayConnect

$79.00 USD per credit

Tuition rate for the advanced path to a degree, if you did not complete PathwayConnect:

$135 USD per credit
